About the project.

Qliniqa is one of Croatia’s largest health-related online hubs, providing information about over 4,000 clinics and 6,000 doctors throughout the country. The platform also hosts an extensive library of over 400 articles covering various topics in health, wellness, and medicine. Qliniqa needed a modern, efficient, and scalable solution to manage this vast amount of data and provide users with a fast and seamless experience.

Challenge.

The primary challenges for Qliniqa were to create a platform that could efficiently handle and display a large amount of data related to clinics, doctors, and health articles. The website needed to offer fast loading times and smooth navigation, crucial for user satisfaction and engagement. Additionally, ensuring that the content could be easily managed and updated was essential. The client sought a solution that utilized modern technologies to enhance performance and SEO, making the site more accessible and user-friendly.

Solution.

To meet Qliniqa’s needs, we developed a headless WordPress solution with Next.js for the frontend. This combination offered optimal performance, scalability, and a modern user experience. Key features of our solution included:

  1. Headless WordPress Backend: We used WordPress as the content management system (CMS) to manage the vast amount of data, including information about clinics, doctors, and health articles. The headless setup allowed for greater flexibility and separation between the backend content management and the frontend display.
  2. Next.js Frontend: For the frontend, we implemented Next.js, a powerful React framework known for its excellent performance and SEO capabilities.   4. Data Management and Display: The platform was designed to efficiently manage and display detailed profiles for over 4,000 clinics and 6,000 doctors. Each profile included essential information such as specialties, contact details, and location. The site also featured a search and filtering system, allowing users to easily find clinics and doctors based on their specific needs.
  5. Extensive Article Library: Qliniqa’s library of over 400 articles covers a wide range of health, wellness, and medical topics. The articles were easily accessible and well-organized, providing valuable information to users seeking knowledge in these areas. The headless setup allowed for seamless content updates and management.

The launch of the Qliniqa platform led to several significant benefits:
